As they progress to school age their oral language develops even more due to interaction with a wider community and now fellow students and teachers.
The important and crucial aspect to oral language development is allowing the child and students in the classroom to participate in conversation. It is through conversation that Oral language develops and the teacher is able to guide students through the different sounds and how to structure their language.
